Bavaria Sail Yachts


Founded in 1978, in Giebelstadt, Bavaria, Germany, Bavaria Yachts is one of Europe’s largest yacht manufacturers, and in the top three worldwide for building yachts 30’ to 50’ in length. Having survived the financial crash of 2008, and bought the French catamaran builder Nautitech Catamarans in 2014; in 2017 the company was within hours of falling into insolvency, before being rescued by a private equity company. Today the company’s range includes 13 models of sailing yacht, 12 models of motorboat, and 4 models of catamaran.


Bavaria C-Line models: C45, C50, C57, and C65.


The C-Line models are at the forefront of modern sailing technology and engineering. Designed to provide that something extra for sailors who expect more from their yachts, they are fast and responsive on the water. Are suitable for small crews, and can be fully converted for solo-sailing. Launched in 2018, the C65 is the latest and largest of the C-lines, and has all the home comforts, refinements, and more of its smaller sisters.


  • The C45: 47’ 3” long, with a 14’ 8” beam, 5 deck layouts, has two equipment levels and is available as a 3 to 4 cabin version, or a 5 cabin version.
  • The C50: 52’ 1” long, with a 16’ 4” beam, 11deck layouts and 4 to 6 cabins.
  • The C57: 54’ 9” long, with a 17’ 3” beam, 8 deck layouts and cabin configurations of 3 to 6, 8, 10, or 12.
  • The C65: 63’ 9” long, with a 17’ 7” beam and an unspecified number of deck layouts and cabin configurations.

Bavaria Cruiser line


The cruiser line has a range of yachts from smaller, motor yachts like the Bavaria 32 to the hugely popular and larger Cruiser 51. The Cruiser line ensures the Bavaria standard of quality, with spacious cabins, excellent amenities and all the equipment you need for a relaxing voyage. The line has a generous amount of customization, and the larger vessels can accommodate up to 10 crew members.


  • The Cruiser 34: 32' 8" long, 11' 2" beam, 2 deck layouts and 2 and 3 cabin variations.
  • The Cruiser 37: 37' 1" long, 12' beam, 2 deck layouts and 2 or 3 cabin variations.
  • The Cruiser 41: 40' 5" long, 13' beam, 3 deck layouts and 2 or 3 cabin variations.
  • The Cruiser 41S: 40' 5'' long, 12'1" beam, 1 deck layout and 3 or 6 cabin variations.
  • The Cruiser 46: 46' 8" long, 14' 3" beam, 2 deck layouts and 3-4 or a 6 cabin variation.

Motorboats


Bavaria S-Line models: S29 Open, S30 Open, S33 Open, S33 HT, S36 Open, S36 HT, S36 Coupe, S40 Open, S40 HT, S40 Coupe, S45 Open, S45 HT, and S45 Coupe.


The Bavaria S-Line range of power boats are smart, sleek, comfortable, and very driveable. For power, economy, and reliability the range uses Volvo Penta, or Mercruiser engines. Sporty and easy on the eye, boats range from 29’ to 45’ in length, and offer roomy 2 or 3 berth cabin layouts. As you would expect from such a comprehensive selection of models, there is a good range of layouts and power plants to cater for all needs whether you want a casual cruising vessel, or smart sports boat. Versions are available with open, covered, or open/hardtop cockpits, and various saloon layouts to cater for all requirements. Equipment, as you would expect, from the mattress on your bunk to the navigation aids in the cockpit, are of the highest quality.


The Bavaria Virtess Line models: Virtess 420 Coupe and Virtess 420 Fly.


The Virtess models are Bavaria Sail Yachts high end, luxurious motorboats. Both models are 40’ 6” in length, with a 13’ 8” beam and 3 to 6 berths. Both come with the latest cutting edge technology and equipment. The coupe roof opens at the touch of a button, while the forward thinking design criteria provides the helmsman easy all-round viewing of the controls and instruments.


Catamarans


The Bavaria Nautitech Line models: Nautitech 40 Open, Nautitech 46 Open, Nautitech 46 Fly, Nautitech 47 motorboat, and the latest Nautitech 54.


Built in France, this range of catamarans, acquired in 2014, range from 40’ to 54’ in length, and utilise the popular engine to prop sail drive configuration. A unique model of catamaran where the cockpit area has been combined with the deck saloon, to provide an extra feel of space combined with a comfortable cockpit area. These cats are not just luxurious, but as manageable for the weekend leisure sailor as they are pushed to the limits of performance sport sailing.
