The Sport Series.

Built with a one-piece fiberglass deck with a molded-in non-skid hand-laid fiberglass surface, the sports series are ideal for new or experienced sailors because of their non-technicality in handling. They are very simple to rig and have less weight from their tapered one-piece carbon fiber which means more sail power for them. The sport series is built mainly for couples day sailing comfort and racing performance due to their perfect combination of well-integrated materials which most of the time come with almost the same specifications and standard equipment in each model including, hand laid up decks and hull, adjustable outhauls, self-bailing cockpits for ease of water removal from the boat deck. flotation and a smart rig system.

The sport series boasts 7 models namely, Catalina 12.5 Expo, Catalina 14.2, Catalina 14.2 Expo, Catalina 16.5, Catalina 22 Capri. Catalina 22 Sport and Catalina 275 sport. Their main differences are the sizes that allow for very minor adjustments in shape.

The Cruiser Series

The Cruiser series are strongly built mid-sized yachts with roomy and spacious interiors and comfortable to move around with sizes ranging from 31-35 feet. The boats are built with a new hull design and features that allow extended periods of sailing. They come in two distinct models, the Catalina 315 and the 355. Both come with sleek low profile cabin designs with cockpits optimized for much efficiency and great visibility from the helm.

They both have uniquely standardized equipment during manufacture from construction, deck hardware, sail handling equipment, and the interior. However the main difference lies in their size and specs for example, the engine, total water holding capacity, fuel capacity, and holding tank capacity. some examples are as follows.

The Flagship Series

This comes complete with only one model the Catalina 545 which won the Cruising World magazine`s boat of the year. The overall layout above decks and below are really stunning.
