This Chardonnay from McWilliam’s has won a Gold medal and the Trophy for Best Chardonnay at the 2014 Canberra Wine Show, as well as Gold medals at the 2014 International Cool Climate Show and 2014 Rutherglen Wine Show.
In the glass: Pale lemon.
On the nose: Lifted green apple, lemon peel, wet stone and light biscuit notes.
On the palate: Energetic with a pure line of bright, refreshing citrussy acidity complementing the apple and citrus fruit and subtle, quality toasty oak.v
