McGuigan Short List Shiraz 2009 (6 x 750mL) Barossa Valley, SA

Description:

The Shortlist range is a selection of multi-award winning wines that represent the unique flavour and character of each varietal as well as the influence of the terroir on the wine. The wine was then pressed off and sent to new American and French Oak Hogsheads for malo-lactic fermentation. The wine was racked and matured in oak for anther 16 months before bottling.

Expert Reviews

Silver & 90 Pts - Hallliday Rating.

Super ripe fruit, with loganberry, fruitcake, licorice and toasty oak; the palate is generous and fleshy, pushing the ripeness envelope, yet not overstepping the mark. - James Halliday, 11 August 2011.

89 Points - Jeremy Oliver

85 Points - Huon Hooke
