Description:

The vineyard in the 2022 vintage experienced primarily mild and cooler growing conditions. The timely arrival of September rainfall further supported the growing season, resulting in consistent fruit maturation. Around two weeks prior to harvest we reduced the water to encourage the grapes to partially dehydrate and

concentrate flavours. The combination of our unique soils and summer weather that lasts until May enables us to produce this special wine. The result is a deeply coloured Shiraz bursting with fruit flavours and aromas.

COLOUR

Deep garnet red with maroon hues.

NOSE

A fragrant mix of dark cherries and plum, enhanced by subtle notes of spice and toasted oak. hints of dark chocolate and a whisper of vanilla create a smooth inviting aromatic profile.

PALATE

Opulent dark berry fruits meld seamlessly with ripe plum, underscored by cinnamon and subtle hints of clove. decadent flavours of velvety dark chocolate add depth, while the wine’s well-balanced acidity and finely structured tannins create a fullbodied, smooth lingering finish.
