Evans & Tate Breathing Space Rose 2019 (6 x 750mL) Margaret River, WA.
This is the second vintage of Breathing Space Rosé made by Evans & Tate. The wine is created from Shiraz fruit from two distinct Margaret River vineyards, selected to drive the style. These two vineyards are located on warm-soiled sites in the northern part of the region where the Shiraz can ripen early whilst achieving soft, ripe tannins, which is critical for making our balanced, flavoursome, vibrant style of rosé with perfumed aromatics.
When blended with the Semillon component and a small amount of highly aromatic Verdelho that was fermented in mature French oak puncheons, the Shiraz fruit produces an aromatic, fleshy textured, slightly savoury style of rosé perfectly suited to the ethos of the Breathing Space range.

Colour
Very pale and light – salmon pink tending to copper–brass.
Aroma
Perfumed and elegant; Turkish delight, rose petal and watermelon overlaid with subtle savoury notes.
Palate
The palate is crisp and refreshing, long and juicy with a lovely dry, talcy finish.
