By Any Other is a family of wines made around the world with a commitment to reduce waste, reduce CO2 emissions and improve the community we live in. Wines will be packaged using the most sustainable packaging available to each region and sold as locally as possible. In 2022, there were three BAO wine produced. Australia, Spain and Hungary.

X01 was produced by Mac Forbes who is located in Victoria, Australia.

The 2022 ‘X01’ Rose from Strathobogie Ranges was produced in response to surplus fruit that was potentially going to be left on the vine. As a result, Mac choose to produce an immediately friendly style of rose with pretty red fruits and savoury dry tannins.

Winery Tasting Notes

Notes Image

Color:

Pale pink to salmon, clear and bright.

Nose:

Red berries (strawberry, raspberry, cranberry), subtle floral notes, citrus peel, and sometimes a hint of spice or herbal character.

Palate:

Light to medium-bodied, crisp acidity, refreshing and fruit-driven. Flavors of strawberry, raspberry, watermelon, and hints of citrus. Very easy-drinking.
