Discovering the history of Famille Piffaut Vins &Domaines is like going back in time... ‍ 1820The Ninot Family created a Burgundy Wine House. It was later passed on to Charles Ninot who developed it andgave it his name. ‍ 1898 ‍ Charles's sister Marie Ambal ,whose husband had died in Paris, returned to settle in Rully .She began producing sparkling wines and founded Maison Veuve Ambal . 1929 ‍Charles Roux-Ambal , Marie's grandson, took over.Entrepreneurial and ambitious, he developed the company and established itsreputation. 1988 Eric Piffaut , representing the fifthgeneration, took over as head of the company.
