The parcels of fruit came off the vine just begging to be a rosé: gentle, aromaKc and dry. The Gris has all the textural qualiKes, and the Marlborough Pino Noir parcels add a touch of fruit density.
While Pinot Gris is the third most popular variety in NZ, there are surprisingly few Pinot Gris Rosé wines made here. The pale purple skins create a pale dusky pink rosé and it’s luscious strawberry and cream flavours are o[en complimented by perfumed dried rose petals and plum nuances.
