6/1970 HOLDEN LC TORANA GTR-XU1 (G.M.H. MEDIA CAR)
This is the car that started it all!!! That famous photo of the ``Plum Dinga`` XU1 on the Lang Lang test circuit that was in every motor mag and newspaper was this very car. The car stayed with Holden for some time for sales brochure duties, dealer promo’s and as a press test car. These giant killers launched the race careers of many of Australia’s top drivers such as Peter Brock, Dick Johnson, Colin Bond and many others. This first build batch XU1 is still in very good condition and has had the same owner for many years. Paperwork and media photos included.
