The Rolex Daytona 6263 “Big Red” is a legendary chronograph from the golden era of vintage Rolex, celebrated for its motorsport heritage and iconic design. Introduced in the early 1970s as part of the Cosmograph Daytona series, the 6263 is instantly recognisable by its bold red “Daytona” text above the 6 o’clock sub-dial — a defining characteristic that has earned it its nickname. Built with a 37mm case in stainless steel or gold, it features a black acrylic tachymeter bezel and screw-down pushers, a technical upgrade that improved water resistance over earlier Daytona models. The dial variants — from classic black and white to rare exotic “Paul Newman” styles — make each piece distinct and highly collectible. Powered by the manual-winding Rolex Caliber 727, based on the Valjoux 72, the 6263 combines robust performance with vintage charm.

- 1.2% surcharge applies to Mastercard & VISA transactions
- 0.7% surcharge applies to Debit card transactions

- No other cards are accepted
- Invoices totalling less than $10,000 will be automatically debited from the card nominated within your account
- Invoices totalling in excess of $10,000 can be paid in-person at any Grays office
PayPal
- 1.2% surcharge applies to PayPal transactions
- Only accepted for invoices totalling less than $10,000 where elected as your preferred payment method within your account
EFT (Direct Deposit)
- For invoices totalling in excess of $10,000. Payment must be made in full within two business days of the auction closing.
- Please ensure to state your invoice number as the payment reference and email proof of the remittance to accountsreceivable@grays.com.au
- As EFT transfers can take up to 2 business days to clear, please contact Grays prior to collecting your purchase to confirm receipt of clear funds
