The winter and spring proceeding the 2020 vintage had below average rain and very hot conditions in December during flowering lead to poor fruit set. Temperatures for the rest of the season were relatively mild thus allowing the vines to recover and the below average rainfall ensured low disease pressure.

The Indian summer stretched from Marth through to late April so the weather stayed mild and dry throughout harvest. Although crops were down by 15-20% of the long time average.

STYLE

This is an easy drinking, crisp fresh Sauv Blanc, tending towards the more tropical notes instead of herbaceous characters.

NOSE

Fresh vibrant passionfruit with notes of tropical lychee and pink grapefruit.

PALATE

The palate is crisp and fresh with lime and tropical fruit notes intermingled with cut grass notes.
