Winery Tasting Notes

Made from Cabernet Sauvignon grapes including grapes from our award-winning Glenkara Estate Vineyard. Located on the southern slopes of the Pyrenees Ranges. The 2021 vintage will be remembered as being superb. The palate of the wine reveals a rich core of fruit with aromas of candy, florals and melon.

Best served chilled.

Established in 1984 by the infamous restauranteur LeonMassoni and legendary winemaker Ian Homes, founder of Yellowglen. In 1996-2000with the assistance of the Ursini family, we established the GlenKara Estatevineyard in the Victorian Pyrenees Ranges, boasting the largest vineyard in theregion (269ha). In 2006, we purchased the Mt Eliza Estate vineyard (8.9ha) onthe Mornington Peninsula.

Currently, all wines are made at the Dromana winery. Massonispecializes in making wines that stand the test of time. With many of ourPyrenees wines being released with 2-3 years of bottle age.

Over the last 19 years, we have focused on making wines thatour clients want to enjoy with their family and friends.
