Description
1000BC TO 2000BC LURISTAN BRONZE ARROWHEAD
- A Bronze Arrowhead from the Luristan Empire. Features a Triangular Shape with Central Raised Mid-Rib, a Short Socket and a Tang for Fitting onto the Wooden Shaft.
- Arrow Head is Between 3000 and 4000 Year Old
- Provenance: Ex Abelita Family Collection, 1980-2018
- Due to the Importance of this Piece, it was Required to have an Open General Export Licence (O.G.E.L.) Issued by the United Kingdom Government Prior to Export. The Arts Council England also Checked this Piece on the INTERPOL Stolen Works of Art Database and Cleared it for Export.
- Luristan Bronze Comes from the Province of Lorestan, a Region Situated in the Area of Modern South-Western Iran. In Ancient Times a Number of Nomadic Populations, Such as the Medes, the Kassites and Eventually the Persians, Settled in the Area.
- A Light Green Patination is Visible on the Bronze.
- Size: 45mm in Length

We accept the following methods of Payment:

- Invoices totalling less than $10,000 will be automatically debited from the card nominated within your account
- Invoices totalling in excess of $10,000 can be paid in-person at any Grays office
- 1.5% surcharge applies to PayPal transactions
- Only accepted for invoices totalling less than $10,000 where elected as your preferred payment method within your account
- For invoices totalling in excess of $10,000. Payment must be made in full within two business days of the auction closing.
