An extraordinary, highly coveted 15-year-old single malt from the distillery’s exceptional American Oak Second-Fill (Refill) Single Cask range.

Distilled in March 2006 and decanted/bottled in September 2021, this expression was matured for a full decade and a half in a 300-litre American oak cask. Because this cask had already been used to age an older batch of Sullivans Cove whisky, the wood`s intense char and heavy vanillins were beautifully mellowed. This second-fill process lets the purest, fruit-forward esters of the distillery`s copper alembic still truly take the spotlight. It is bottled at 46.9% ABV.

Unlike a standard first-fill ex-bourbon barrel that leads with aggressive vanilla and coconut, TD0086 leans heavily into a deeply complex, bright fruit matrix intermingled with sweet baking notes.

Nose: Incredibly vibrant and aromatic. It opens with bright tropical notes of pineapple and fresh strawberry, balanced out by crisp green apple, sweet malt biscuits, milk chocolate, and subtle toasted oak.

Palate: Rich, smooth, and texturally rolling across the tongue. It features a lush base of apricot jam and warm caramel, layered with decadent chocolate, roasted nuts, and elegant baking spices.

Finish: Remarkably long, warming, and structured. It gently fades into a clean dryness, leaving behind enduring notes of sweet caramel, malted biscuits, and a lingering echo of orchard fruits.
