Plt of 84x Ctns - AWJS Shiraz Cabernet 2019 (6 x 750mL) SEA Colour Deep dark red. Nose This wine is layered with nuances of raspberry and pepper spice, typical of Shiraz with blackberry and hint of mint, typical of Cabernet. Palate Medium bodied in structure, the palate is warm, inviting and strikes the perfect balance of natural fruit flavours, acidity, toasty oak integrated, mellow tannin Food that compliments the wine are: BBQ’s, roasts or richer, more hearty stews. Climate Warm, dry and minimal frost across the region during the period of critical growth leading up to harvest has enabled high quality grapes with intense varietal flavours to be grown. The dry winter did result in reduced yields from some vineyards planted on sandy soils but overall yields were as expected. Moderate to high water deficit in the soil of our vineyards between veraison and maturity led us to make rich, concentrated and aromatic red wines. Viticulture Trained onto two wire vertical trellises with both wires mechanically pruned back to 2 buds. The canopy is managed through reduced water to restrict its vigour and increase both colour and flavour intensity.After night harvesting, the Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes were crushed into static fermenters. After a brief cold soak to extract colour and flavour, the must inoculated with Rhone Valley style yeast strain and the Cabernet with a Bordeaux style yeast strain. Controlled fermentation occurred over ten days, commencing at 24°C reducing to 20°C. Gentle Pump-overs occurred six times daily to maximise the extraction of colour whilst retaining a soft juicy palate structure. Pump-overs were reduced to twice daily towards the end of fermentation to minimise seed tannin extraction. To avoid any harsh tannins and bitterness only free run and first pressings were used in this blend. After pressing, the wine was settled for three weeks before racking onto American oak for 6 months. (283579-2)... Bundled item (283579-5) (283579-6)

Asset Collection
This is a pick up sale. Collection is the responsibility of the purchaser.
Pick up is available by advance booking only once cleared funds are received. Booking can be made for a Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday or a Friday collection between 11am & 3pm (excluding public holidays). Bookings must be made 48 hours prior to pick up date and time.
Collection without a booking is not possible. Please refer to your winner's email for booking information.
Items must be picked up within 10 working days from receipt of payment, or else they may be deemed abandoned.

To collect your purchases please bring a copy of your invoice and photo ID. If you intend to send a third party to collect your goods on your behalf, you need to send them with a copy of your invoice along with a photocopy of your photo ID and signed note of authority permitting Grays staff to release your purchases to the third party.

- Grays accepts no responsibility for transit damage to these items once they have been picked up from the warehouse.
- Items must be inspected before removal from Grays as refunds or exchange are not given under any circumstances.
- Any items not collected after the last pick up date may be deemed abandoned and resold or otherwise disposed of.
