A quietly significant reference. The 114200 marked the point where the Air-King grew up — it was the first in the line to carry COSC chronometer certification, retiring the ``Precision`` designation that defined earlier generations. Produced from 2007 until the 34mm
Air-King was retired, it now represents one of the last genuinely understated steel Rolex sports-adjacent references.
Calibre 3130 at its most refined. The self-winding movement runs at 28,800 vibrations per hour with a full balance bridge and Breguet overcoil hairspring, delivering roughly 48 hours of reserve. Simple, time-only, and among the most serviceable and long-lived movements Rolex has produced.
Rhodium Roman dial — the dress variant. Black Roman numerals sit against a rhodium base with applied white gold indices and a printed minute track, making this the most formal execution of the 114200 range. It reads considerably dressier than the 3-6-9
Explorer-style or concentric dials, and is meaningfully harder to source in good original condition.
Excellent condition throughout. Case retains strong lines with light wear consistent with careful ownership. Dial, hands and crystal present clean with no notable flaws. Bracelet stretch minimal, clasp closes firm.
Watch-only presentation with COA. Supplied as a watch-only sale (WXO) — no original Rolex box or warranty card — accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity. The 34mm case, solid-end-link Oyster bracelet and 19mm lug width make this a comfortable everyday-to-formal piece across a wide range of wrist sizes.
