Rileys of Eden Valley Maddy's Rose 2019 (6 x 750mL) SA

Description:

Wine Making

This Rosé is a skilfully crafted, rather unusual blend of Pinot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot grapes. The grapes were cool harvested, swiftly crushed, pressed and fermented, then promptly drawn off the skins so as to create the wines beautiful colour.

Cellaring

Rearing to go this wine can be ideally enjoyed when served chilled over the summer months. It has the structure and depth to keep for a year or two, but why bother when it is so superb right now.

Winery Tasting Notes

Notes Image

Starting with the beautiful, lively pink colour, this is a gorgeous wine which has gentle aromas of strawberries with a smidge of spice thrown in to complex the bouquet.

On the palate it is bright, smooth and elegant with delicious yet delicate strawberry flavours and an excellent lingering finish that refreshes the palate.

This gorgeous wine is designed to be enjoyed either on its own as an aperitif, especially over the summer, or with lighter style meals such as those served at picnics.
