The purest expression of Cartier`s round case. The Ronde Solo strips the maison`s circular design language back to its essentials — no complications, no ornament beyond the crown cabochon. It is the most affordable entry into a genuine Cartier steel watch and remains one of the most quietly wearable dress pieces the brand produces.
Unmistakably Cartier at the dial. Black Roman numerals ring the outer track with a 13–24 Arabic chapter inside, blued-steel sword hands sweep across a silvered opaline base, and the secret Cartier signature is concealed within the VII numeral — a detail the brand has carried since the early twentieth century and one most owners take pleasure in pointing out.
Exceptionally slim on the wrist. At 6.61mm thick, the case slides under a shirt cuff without resistance, and the 36mm diameter sits comfortably as a unisex proportion. The concealed folding clasp keeps the bracelet line unbroken, which is a large part of why this reference wears more expensive than it costs.
Excellent condition. Case and bracelet retain sharp original geometry with only light handling marks. Dial, hands and sapphire crystal present clean, spinel cabochon intact and firmly seated. The quartz calibre requires only periodic battery service, making this an undemanding piece to own.
Watch-only presentation with COA. Supplied without original box or Cartier papers, accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity. Priced accordingly against full-set examples, this represents the most direct route into the reference for a buyer who values the watch over the packaging.
