Byrne Estate Grown Shiraz 2019 (6 x 750mL) SA

Description:

Winemaking

Estate grown Shiraz was picked as each block reached optimum ripeness and acidity. Fermented and cared for by our winemaking team and blended to make this harmonious style. The 2019 Riverland vintage endured hot, dry conditions of over 35 degrees for 48 days resulting in lower than average yields with concentrated flavours and richness. The Byrne Estate Grown Shiraz displays these hallmarks of fruit, tannin and balanced ripeness.

Byrne Family Australia wines express our family’s dedication to the land and our vines. Celebrating over 50 years and three generations, with the strength of our heritage we honour the generations past and yet to come.

These Byrne Family wines deliver richness and complexity in classic varietal style. Estate Grown fruit is lovingly crafted into the highest quality wines throughout the harvest to optimise the flavour and character balance.

Deep in colour, full bodied and richly flavoured with berry fruit and subtle oak.

Winery Profile

Brand Profile Image

Experienced wine exporters, vignerons and domestic wine sellers. The Byrne difference is quality focused, innovative and estate grown wines from grape to glass.

Celebrating 60 years and 4 generations, the Byrne family range of wines express our dedication to sustainability and land regeneration practices, with our ethos to minimise harm and maximise benefits to the environment.

From the banks of the Murray River in which our vineyard grows, our prized estate wines reflect the love that goes into our land, delivering richness and complexity into each glass.

It all began almost half a century ago when the first vines were planted in a spot handpicked for its stony soils over the limestone base. Combine that with the warm embrace of a dry climate and generous sunshine, and you have the perfect recipe for grape varieties bursting with flavour and resilience.
