Created as an expression of the Classic Australian Shiraz, we set about delivering a premium quality, but approachable Big Red wine and benchmarked this Shiraz after much appraisal & tastings around the globe with leading Australian export success stories. Crafted to be Vegan, this wine was made with a little intervention as possible.

Winery Tasting Notes

Notes Image

Colour

Deep, ripe plum with purple tints at the edges.

Nose

Big Red show all the hallmarks of good Shiraz spicy mulberry flavours with just a hint of pepper. The fruit does all the talking with a round and soft palate supported by a touch of oak complexity.

Palate

Flavours cascade over the tongue in a full-bodied, mouth-filling fashion. There are rich blackcurrant and cassis flavours, hints of cigar box and cedar all combined with lingering toasty, gamey and vanillin notes.
