This acidity lends structure to a foundation of juicy citrus, lime zest, cooked apple, and white peach. It is highly enjoyable now but has the potential for some short-term aging. Typically, this wine is a blend of Padthaway and Eden Valley Chardonnay; however, in 2024, Chardonnay was sourced from one of Australia’s oldest vineyards in Cowra – a recognized Chardonnay region – to impart some cool climate depth. Thus this blend, delivers a focused, firm acid push.
