Description:

The Chardonnay juice went through 100% barrel fermentation, with the Hunter portion encouraged to ferment wild or naturally, whilst the Adelaide Hills was inoculated with select Champagne yeast strain to layer mouth feel. Post fermentation the wine was left on its yeast lees in new and old French oak for 12 months prior to it being clarified and bottled.

A Burgundian style Chardonnay; luscious, mouth filling with pronounced stone fruits, vibrant yet subtle oak, with great line and a lemon meringue like finish.

A delicious accompaniment to light and delicate food such as lightly cooked shellfish like crab and prawns or grilled fish.

Launched in 1998 as Hermitage Road, the street on which the McGuigan family lived, it soon came to the attention of the French appellation body, which took issue with the use of the word ‘Hermitage’, a protected wine region in the Rhone Valley. And so, Tempus Two, which is Latin for ‘second time’ was born.

Today, the vision for Tempus Two remains; to create a unique and distinctive range of wines from Australia’s premier wine growing regions. By blending substance with style, Tempus Two creates wines that are affordable, luxurious and artisan showcasing familiar and new varietals in innovative, eye catching packaging.
