Tasting Notes

Refreshing nose with predominant aromas of red fruits such as sweet cherry, blackberry, and fresh juicy grapes.

Endowed with well-integrated tannins, this wine is harmonious.

Beautiful deep ruby red in colour on this value-buy Bourgogne. Clean aromas of cherry and gooseberry, with a palate of red fruit, spices, and kirsch. Non-existent tannins and medium acidity with a cranberry finish. Very drinkable. Great value for money. Paired with Peking duck. Terroirs have showcased the Burgundy’s Pinot Noir grape for centuries where it is synonymous with elegance and finesse. The grapes are sourced from plots throughout the region.

Vinification takes place in temperature-controlled vats at 28-30°C with punching of the cap before being aged for 8 to 12 months in oak barrels.

Food Pairing:

Easily paired with roasted or grilled meats, an assortment of deli meats, or mild cheeses. It goes very well with a spiced lamb stew, vegetable shepherd’s pie or beef carpaccio with parmesan curls. As for cheeses, serve this wine with creamy Neufchâtel or Chaource.
