In the northern reaches of South Australia’s cool climate Clare Valley, grapes grown during the season are carefully to express the vineyards fruit in a faithful, regional style. Harvest at optimum timing capturing full fruit potential. The wine was vinified in tank to capture the intense fruit flavours and aromas.

In 1838 Walter Thomson, with wife Jane, arrived in Australia and established a winemaking tradition. Faithful to his approach, grapes since then are carefully tended by vignerons to create wines of great intensity.

Set in the cool and picturesque Clare Valley, the high altitude of provides finesse and delicate power to the vines.
