Expert Reviews

Single vineyard, night-harvested, whole berries open-fermented, matured for 15 months in used French barriques. No particular magic in the vinification, unless it be preserving the beautiful crimson-purple hue and allowing the varietal fruit free play with its red and black cherry, blackberry, and a splash of wild herbs. It's inviting from the time you first see its colour through to its aftertaste. - James Halliday
