Deep, deep garnet. Five years old and just starting to reveal - and revel in - its growing maturity. Lashings of rich, ripe fruits, intense blackcurrant, panforte, cinnamon, nutmeg, sage. Deep garnet-ruby with a dense, youthful core and excellent color concentration.

Aroma

Blackcurrant, blackberry, dark plum, cedar, tobacco leaf, dark chocolate, vanilla, and subtle oak spice with hints of dried herbs.

Palate

Medium- to full-bodied with concentrated flavors of cassis, blackberry, and dark plum supported by notes of cedar, cocoa, and gentle spice. Fine-grained tannins and balanced acidity provide structure and elegance, leading to a long, persistent finish with lingering dark fruit and savory oak complexity.
