Colour

The appearance is medium intensity and the colour is deep rose petal red with hints of crimson and cherry red on the rim.

Aroma

The bouquet opens with intense red currant and cranberry fruit. There’s an elegant floral scent followed by cedar wood, exotic earthy spices and smoked meats. It’s rich and enticing with a sophisticated edge.

Palate

Grenache is often referred to as “Poor man’s Pinot Noir” so it’s no surprise that it has a similar body weight and flavour profile. This wine has elegant fruit, gentle tannins with delicious savoury notes and rustic earthy characters on the back palate. Oak is subtle and well handled delivering a fresh lively finish.
