Winery Tasting Notes

Deep dark red with purple edges. The complex bramble and dark fruit aromas give way to spicy notes of sage rosemary and dried herbs. Fine vanilla oak lifts and encapsulates the fruit. This full bodied red wine is a

powerhouse of flavours and textures. The low yielding vines in this elevated vineyard have produced fruit with purity and balance. Red and black fruits with spicy pepper, liquorice and herbs proceeding the medium ripe tannins and soft acid. The persistence of the fruit on the pallet displays the exceptional high quality grapes coming from the northern tip of the Clare valley.

Perfect to pair it with beef osso bucco with parmesan polenta, or roast beef with sweet potato mash and vegetables.
