Mollydooker's 2020 The Boxer Shiraz delivers what fans of this producer have come to expect: huge fruit, plenty of ripeness, tasty oak and oodles of flavor. Cedar, chocolate and mint accent cola, plum and berry fruit on the nose, while the full-bodied palate is round, supple and expansive. It's creamy-ripe, yet the wine ends silky and mouthwatering.

The 2020 Boxer will win over Shiraz fans with its solid core of dark fruit, black cherries, mocha and clove spice that lifts out of the glass. A soft plummy mouthfeel, well measured tannins and slightly toasted oak compliment the rich fruit, creating a wine with many layers.

Bursting with an enticing aroma and an intense, elegant flavour spectrum, the Boxer truly is a knockout.

The owners of Mollydooker Wines, Sarah & Sparky Marquis, are some of the most decorated winemakers in the world. They have received five 99-point scores from Robert Parker’s The Wine Advocate; four of their wines have been chosen in the Wine Spectator’s ‘Top 100’ and their Carnival of Love Shiraz has made the Wine Spectator ‘Top 10’ list two years in a row.

Sarah and Sparky have been named ‘Australian Winemakers of the Year’, have been chosen by Robert Parker among the ‘Top Wine Personalities in the World’, and have been crowned ‘McLaren Vale’s Bushing King and Queen’ a record three times.
