Nestled between heavily wooded craggy hills overlooking the majestic Blackwood River in Australia’s south west is the family run vineyard of HILLBILLÉ.

The property has been in the Bettridge family since the late 1980s and has a total area of 75 hectares (185 acres).

In 1998 a range of grape varietals were planted totalling 18 hectares (45 acres) including Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Chardonnay, Semillon, Sauvignon Blanc and Viognier.

Over the years our premium fruit has been sold to some of Australia’s leading wineries including Vasse Felix, Stella Bella, Goundrey, Plantagenet and Evans & Tate.

Since 2003 small parcels of fruit have been hand selected to produce the stable of HILLBILLÉ wines - the Estate and Reserve range, and the exclusive Signature ‘James Brittain’ series.

The property also contains 250 olive trees (Mission, Kalamata, Leccino, Frantoio, Pendolino and Manzanilla) and has produced cold pressed extra virgin olive oil under the HILLBILLÉ brand.

In 2009 the HILLBILLÉ brand was redesigned incorporating a new logo and monogram to reflect its modern, yet traditional wine making ethos and heritage.
