Mateus White is a young wine with a citrus-like hue and fruity bouquet, with a fine acidity and well-balanced, lively, and young in the mouth.

Made by the same vineyard of the creators of the famous MATEUS Rose.

Pleasant and refreshing. Ideal for those magic moments around the pool or just relaxing around the Barbie.

Light and refreshing and matches very well, all Australian seasons.

Mateus Blanc is a young wine to be drunk very fresh, produced with the Arinto, Bical, Fernão Pires and Malvasia grape varieties.

It is a wine with fruity aromas, ideal for moments of relaxation, and can be served as an aperitif or with light dishes such as grilled fish or salad.

Winery Profile

Mateus was the first Portuguese wine brand to be loved the world over, appealing to different tastes and cultures and recognised in the farthest corners of the world. Today Mateus is enjoyed in 125 countries and has been for many decades.

The history of Mateus Rosé goes back to 1942, when Fernando van Zeller Guedes created and launched an entirely new concept – a wine of strong personality and unique taste presented in an unusual, innovative bottle.

The bottle was first inspired by the hip-flasks used by soldiers in the First World War, creating a shape that stood out in a crowd of tall bottles. The label, unusually elegant and innovative for the period, was an ode to its rich Portuguese background.

But inside the iconic bottle, there was a new kind of wine, something different – pink, refreshing, slightly sparkling and extremely versatile.

The real secret of our success lies in the passion of our winemakers. It’s this passion that created our newly released range of new varieties, making Mateus the perfect wine for any occasion.
