Medium bodied palate housing powerful flavours from the ‘fruits of the forest’ spectrum. Some green leaf and earthy notes make a welcome addition as well, before finishing with lingering dusty tannins.

Penola Estate Cabernet Sauvignon 1998

Loads of dark fruits, a decent dollop of spicy oak and impressive length and character here. It's medium bodied and finishes with a firm tannic grip.

Lindemans Limestone Ridge Shiraz Blends 1994

Excellent deep rich red colour, indicative of a wine of great depth and concentration. The nose displays rich ripe plum and black pepper shiraz aromas with mint like Cabernet overtones. The medium to full bodied palate has rich, intense Shiraz fruit, firm tannins and attractive fruit sweetness, giving the wine great length.

Tollana Cabernet Sauvignon 1987

Medium red-purple; the bouquet is moderately intense, with a good balance between dark berry fruit and spicy oak. The palate is quite elegant and restrained, with a mix of red and dark berry fruit flavours, and finishes with soft tannins. A winner of gold medals at the Perth and Barossa wine shows.
