COLOUR

The appearance is bright with a deep straw colour and hints of gold.

AROMA

The bouquet shows ripe peaches with toffee and creamy vanilla notes. The alcohol is heady with clean French oak and hints of roast nuts and caramel.

PALATE

The palate is well balanced with the mouth-filling flavours of vanilla, peaches and cream lifted by an alcohol “sweetness” which adds to the texture and structure. It has nutty complexity and the finish is long, mellow and satisfying with a refreshingly clean dry aftertaste.

FOOD PAIRING

This is a classic McLaren Vale Chardonnay. It’s well balanced showing fresh fruit characters with integrated oak and malolactic complexity. It’s suited to all white meats including some more spicy dishes with clean fresh flavours like mild Thai curries and baked fish.

This is a full bodied, rich Chardonnay from a reputable vineyard with a history of producing wines that will cellar for many years. This wine already has extensive barrel and bottle maturation and is drinking well now.
