A bouquet of red berries and ripe blackberry, supported by gentle oak spice and a hint of brambly fruit for added depth.

A vibrant, medium-bodied Cabernet Sauvignon showing ripe cherry plum and black cherry fruit. Silky tannins shape the palate, complemented by touches of mocha and cocoa. Balanced acidity provides freshness and a harmonious, tidy finish.

1838 was the year Walter Thomson, with wife Jane, arrived in Australia and established a winemaking tradition. Faithful to his approach, our estate grown parcels are carefully tended by our vignerons to create wines of great intensity.

Named after a landmark building beside the majestic River Murray in South Australia, the Riverland region has the greatest days of sunshine and a pristine climate for premium grape growing on our limestone soils.
