This COVID-19 Antigen Rapid test ( Self Test ) is a screening tool to help detect COVID-19 in people with or without any symptoms of COVID-19. The Rapid antigen testing involves a simple nasal swab (using a small cotton bud) that is inserted 1-2 cm into each nostril and then placed into a chemical solution. 2 drops of this solution is then placed on a cassette and the result is displayed within 15 minutes.

The nasal swab head has a brush that traps the virus in its bristles when the swab is rotated in the nostrils brushing it against the walls of the nasal passage. When the swab is inserted into the buffer and squeezed, the virus breaks down and is released in the buffer.

• Children or teenagers aged 2 to 15 years old should have their samples collected and tested by an adult. Do not use the tests for anyone under 2 years of age.
• Do not use on anyone who is prone to nosebleeds or has had facial or head injury/surgery in the last 6 months.
• Wear a safety mask or other face-covering when collecting anterior nasal swab specimen from a child or another individual.
• Keep testing kit and kit components away from children and pets before and after use.
• Do not use kit or components beyond the expiration date.
• Store Tests between 2-30°C.
• DO NOT FREEZE.
• Kit contents are stable until the expiration dates marked on their outer packaging and containers. Once opened the device should be used immediately.
