52/32/14/2% McLaren Vale/Frankland River/Pyrenees/Clare Valley. This is taking the largesse of big company wine and its reach to a multitudinous degree of inter-regional blending. A balm of consistency and complexity in the Australian tradition. The result is full weighted and highly stylish, bridling warm-climate generosity with the herbal tannins, peppery freshness and aromatic lilt of somewhere cooler. The oak is all class, serving as a buffering framework to boysenberry, dried fruits, star anise, thyme and bramble.

Plum, mulberry, dark cherry, aniseed, milk chocolate, hints of sage, spice and blueberry

PALATE

A complex wine of exquisite balance, fine structure and exceptional length showing vibrant dark berry, plum, blueberry and bramble fruit flavours with notes of milk chocolate, liquorice, all spice and dried herbs.
