Winery Tasting Notes

SAUVIGNON BLANC 2018 :

Parcels from the Awatere Valley and Wairau Valley together combine to create a wine brimming with varietal character, balance and elegance. The nose is lifted and fresh with notes of passionfruit and grapefruit. The sweet fruit characters on the palate and fresh acidity combine to create an expressive, lively Sauvignon Blanc. Beautiful with barbequed seafood – especially prawns, fish also mezze plates.

PINOT GRIS 2018:

This Pinot Gris is brimming with pear drop and honey, leading to flavours of stone fruit and beeswax. The palate is rich and shows wonderful balance between fruit sweetness and acidity, with a moreish silky finish. Enjoy with Asian food, chicken and light pasta dishes
