Winery Tasting Notes

Colour: Vibrant crimson red with hints of purple.

Aroma: Pretty, lifted nose of wild little red fruits, clean red earth and stones and a background of warm baking spices.

Palate: Very intense palate of wild strawberries, raspberries and berry compote controlled by powerful but softly grainy tannins that contain the fruit and provide a long and lingering finish.

95 Pts - Sweetly fruited and beautifully fragrant, the bouquet shows raspberry, plum, floral and toasted nut characters, leading to a juicy palate that is wonderfully weighted and rounded. The wine offers terrific fruit purity and soothing mouthfeel, finishing long and satisfying. A lovely expression of the variety. At its best: now to 2022 - Sam Kim.
