Winery Tasting Notes
Heavy red with purple hues in colour. The nose offers up dark, earthy notes with complex spice and a distinct Langhorne Creek regionality. The palate is earthy, elegant and well balanced with grainy tannins providing great structure. A snappy acidity offers a vibrant finish. A great example of the seamless integration of Langhorne Creek Shiraz and Cabernet to give the consumer a complete experience.
Winery Profile
Brothers in Arms has a history of family grape growing spanning five generations, with Guy Adams' family purchasing the "Metala" property 125 years ago and planting the first vines - Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon, in 1891.
Langhorne Creek in South Australia lies on the shores of Lake Alexandrina just a few miles from the Southern Ocean and is without question red wine country.
Guy and his wife Liz head up a dedicated team that are proud to produce wines of balance, structure and texture that are true to the Estate and true to the Langhorne Creek region.
