MV stands for multi vintage. Made from a blend of 59% Chardonnay, 35% Pinot Noir and 6% Pinot Meunier it opens with a lacy white mousse that dissipates to reveal a pale straw coloured base that has pale gold tinged edges. A fine persistent bead weaves its way through its core.

Winery Tasting Notes

Citrus and oily toast like aromas intermix with yeast lees, hints of lime and chalky mineral notes. The racy, tightly knit palate sees flavours of citrus, yeast lees and green apple overlay chalky mineral elements. Tense and sculptured it finishes dry with crisp acidity and a vividly refreshing aftertaste.

Clover Hill was established in 1986 as a dedicated sparkling wine estate. The Clover Hill vineyard, located in the Pipers River region of north east Tasmania, has ideal climatic conditions and terroir to create Australia’s finest sparkling wine.

Planted solely to traditional sparkling wine varieties, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier, considerable variation in the vineyard’s aspect and soil profile adds further complexity to the fruit sourced. Slow ripening conditions enable the grapes to develop a full flavour spectrum, resulting in a sparkling wine of richness, concentration and superb structure.
