The fruit is handpicked and carefully selected to retain the freshness and punchy citrus fruit flavour that Watervale is renowned. Our Hilltop Riesling shows fragrant floral aromatics with lively palate freshness and soft acidity. With careful cellaring this wine should mature gracefully for eight+ years.

Wine industry executives Richard Woods and Rasa Fabian purchased Crabtree in 2007 and left Sydney corporate life for the ultimate seachange. Collectively, they had decades of sales and marketing experience, and remain adamant that Crabtree should be an estate brand, and therefore limited in volume. Kerri Thompson (from Wines by KT) is a highly talented and very experienced winemaker, having a great record with Riesling.
