Wine Summary Image

Aroha', meaning 'love' in Te Reo Maori is based on two unique parcels of Pinot Noir grapes grown in rocky soils at the Te Muna Road vineyard in Martinborough.

These special parcels, including one of the legendary 'Abel' clone, are selected for 'Aroha' because of their individual expression of the vineyard, complex aromatic profile and sensational savoury, earth-bound texture and length.

Appearance

Dark cherry colour.

Aroma

Complex bouquet of violets, thyme, winter forest floor and glazed cherry.

Palate

Soft on the palate with a mixture or red and dark fruits persisting toward a fine, dry finish. A wine showing great finesse despite it’s firm structural frame.
