Grillo is a Sicilian variety traditionally used for making Marsala wines; these days most of it goes into still whites like this one. It takes you out of your comfort zone, away from your usual reference points. It’s fresh and crisp, with notes of flowers and mangos, it’s rich and nutty with good depth of flavour.

This is a versatile, delicious and light-bodied white wine that will suit almost any occasion.

Colour:

Deep straw yellow.

Nose:

Distinctly tropical aromas of mango and papaya with hints of jasmine and white florals.

Palate:

A wine that shows balanced citrus fruit and floral characters and delicate acidity. Light, aromatic, more-ish and very good with light seafood dishes and salads.
