A love story ensued inspired by two vows: To preserve the best of tradition, the old world of wine and our unique old vineyards, and to champion the best clones of each variety, planted in the most appropriate sites, embracing the principles of organic farming. Winery Tasting Notes

Dark-purple hue, but bright and alive. Inviting. In rude optical health. Aromas of crushed plums and dark berries; sarsaparilla, dark liqueur chocolates; graphite, lavender, and bay leaf. Pink pepper freshly crushed; aniseed and brighter blueberry notes. A savoury bare-waft of toasted oak - just. Rounded yet taut in fruit length. The evident ripe, deep almost blackberry fruit is yet sotto voce, whilst the more stressed and tense fruit high-notes are - vice versa - giving and friendly. A grainy, finely-tannined middle palate with a gentle grip. A long finish and, ultimately, a syrah built around a subtle acid structure - as syrah should be.
