Mars Komagatake Yakushima Aging Single Malt Japanese Whisky 2019 (1x 700mL)

  • This new Komagatake Yakushima Aging 2019 single malt from Mars Whisky was distilled at the Shinshu Distillery located in the heart of the Japanese Alps and nestled at an altitude of 800 meters. The casks were later transferred for aging on the island of Yakushima, in the south of the country where Mars Whisky installed one of its cellars.
  • Yakushima has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1993, and the island enjoys a very special climate, with 75% humidity, giving the single malt new aromas, including a distinct maritime note.
  • Mars Whisky continues to grow and has decided to establish its aging cellars in 3 different places: Shinshu, Tsunuki and Yakushima to compare the impact of different climates of Japan on the aging of whisky.
