It’s shiraz from Mount Benson. Lovely release. Not stellar, but high value and excellent to drink. Spices aplenty – crushed dry leaves, stems and peppers – with cherried fruit washing through. It’s light- to medium-weight, well textured, lively and balanced. Nutty tannin is beautifully well integrated. It’s all very attractive. Think savoury, think light, think lovely. Drink to: 2025
