Add some dark cherries and soft oak that imparts some vanilla, milk chocolate and delicate waves of soft spice tease and you have a really enjoyable drink. Winery Tasting Notes

The Pig in the House Shiraz is.... excellent! It's a wine which, at first sip, does induce a raised eyebrow, a nice colour with purples and reds. Aromatically the wine is Cowra and Shiraz, with dark berry fruits of blackberry, and ripe cherries. Aromatic spices are mixed with white and black pepper and vanilla.The palate is a well balanced, it will be appreciated by most red wine drinkers, it has primary fruit purity, and exceptional flavour density. The persistence of flavour is this wines true hallmark, where flavours linger for longer, and flavour complexity develops during this appreciable period.

91 POINTS "You don’t see the name Cowra on the front label of many bottles nowadays. It’s not on the label of this wine either. The Pig from Cowra. It’s grown organically. It’s a good wine. Good to drink, right now. Polished. Fruit-driven. Tipped with toasty oak, just the right amount. Red-berried fruits with florals. Maybe some star anise, just.
