Wine Summary Image

Sourced from three small vineyards at the southern end of the famous Mclaren Vale, the wine was produced in a traditional manner to preserve the fruit’s intensity and regional definition. We matured parcels in a variety of barrels, mainly second fill (which impart a less intense flavour) American oak which has added a pleasant texture and character to the wine.

This is instantly appealing, showing blackberry, vanilla, cedar, olive and floral notes on the nose, leading to a concentrated palate delivering terrific fruit richness together with plush mouthfeel and silky tannins. Opulent and satisfying with loads of delicious flavours.

Winery Tasting Notes

A fruit forward wine with plenty of obvious dark fruits including blueberry, blackberry and black cherry, complemented by some floral and herb characters. Well integrated oak adds both flavour and a soft, fine mouthfeel.
