A full-bodied, muscular but elegant and smooth palate of sweet plums and mulberries, red and black cherries, black pepper, aromatic undertones of bay leaves, rosemary and thyme, fine flavours of dark chocolate and mocca, a hint of cedar wood, fine and well integrated tannins, long and persistent finish

The Lanz Family started their vineyards in 1998 with helpfrom their long-time Australian friends Anne and Brian.

Viticulture, vineyard management, winemaking and grape salesare in the hands of Paxton, renowned throughout Australia for their professionalism.

Since 2016 Lanz Vineyards is transforming into biodynamicviticulture.

The quality of the grapes of the so called "OutlookVineyards" has been upgraded steadily and, together with consultancy ofone of the top-clients, has now reached A-grade quality with the main part ofits grapes.

The lion share of the grapes is sold to other premium wineproducers in the Barossa Valley. The LANZ wines are produced only of a smallpart of the grapes – the best, of course!
